Poole faced Bradford of the Western League in their first qualifying round FA cup tie. Bradford started brightly and matched Poole for the first 20 minutes of the first half with their striker Sam Jordan looking particularly threatening.  In his first start for Poole, Bournemouth loanee Sam Matthews went off injured after 29 minutes following a late tackle from Jake Hiscocks which went unpunished. Thousands raised for Culliford benefit fund

Over £6,000 has been raised for Andy Culliford following his benefit match at Tatnam on Sunday according to vice chairman Chris Reeves. The match, watched by 1,122 people, saw the likes of Steve Fletcher, Eddie Howe, Jason Tindall, Richard Beardsmore and Taffy Richardson take part in a charity match for Culliford, who has Motor Neurone Disease.
