_The Fans Forum held at Poole Stadium on 31st May was every bit as positive an occasion as I could have wished for. Fan’s Forum Update

The fan’s Forum will take place on Thursday 31st May at the Restaurant at the Stadium Wimborne Rd rather than the Black Gold. Attending for the clun will be Chairman Chris Reeves,  Manager Tommy Killick and Dan Herrington, Manager of the newly formed Reserves and the  U18 side. Proceedings start at 7:30 pm and parking is free in the Stadium Car park.

Dylan Goes To School

It is national Walk to School week and the Children of Ad Astra Infant School, Canford Heath, were walked to school by a VID (Very Important Dolphin). Poole Town FC mascot, Dylan the Dolphin, walked with the children and parents from the neighbourhood centre to the As Astra school as part of the campaign to encourage children to walk or ride to school rather than go by car. Tommy McGhee May 10, 1929 – May 19, 2018 RIP

Sadly we have to report the passing of another legend from the golden era. Tommy McGhee arrived at Poole in July 1960 from Reading. He played 285 times scoring 21 goals until he retired in May 1967.  During the period Poole also reached the FA Cup 1st Rd on 2 occasions.  1962/63 losing in the replay at home v Watford.  1966/67 losing at home v QPR. Tommy also starred for Portsmouth and you can read the obituary on the Pompey website HERE

We are pleased to announce that Poole Town will play Torquay United on Saturday 14th July 2018  at 3.00pm. Torquay are likely to bring a full first team squad to the Black Gold . Season tickets will also be pegged at

£215 for adults, £145 concessions, £90 under 18s and £18 for under 13s.

“Early Bird” reductions available to all those who pay in full by the end of July, being

£195 for adults, £130 concessions, £80 for under 18s and £15 for under 13s.

If you wish to secure a seat in the stand for an additional £25 your name will be added to a seat of your choice subject to availability.
