CHAIRMAN’S BLOG 13
The main reason behind my doing another of my blogs so quickly is to promote the fans forum which is taking place on the evening of Thursday May 31st in the Greyhound Restaurant at Poole Stadium with a start time of 7:30pm
Plenty of free parking, the bar will be open, Tom Killick will be in attendance and we are looking for a great turnout.
We are hoping for a bumper sale of season tickets for the new season and there will be much to discuss. We would hope to have some mo re information with regard pre-season friendlies and of course the makeup of the squad for next season.
We will have news with regard to works that are being carried out to the ground and also an indication as to the opportunities that exist for some supporter help in terms of providing the TLC that any football ground needs during the course of the summer, in readiness for a new season.
One particular area that we are interested in “adding to” is the number of qualified first aiders that we have in and around the Club on match days. Is there anyone out there suitably qualified who might be prepared to “go on the list”?
With regard to ground improvements, the Club is extremely grateful to the supporters club for their financial contribution to the cost of that work. Everybody “doing their bit” is an essential pre-requisite of life for any club at our level.
Do please come along in your droves and let’s have a really positive debate as to the short and long term future of this great Club of ours.
