Marvin Returns

Happy Halloween for the Dolphins

Poole Town Football Club are pleased to announce that Marvin Brooks has re-signed for the club. Marvin will be in the squad for tonight’s vital Vanarama National League South match against Concord Rangers at the Black Gold Stadium. Brooks was the top scorer for the Dolphins from open play last season, one goal behind set-piece specialist Steve Devlin. His all-round play and goals have been missed. It is no secret that Chairman Chris Reeves and Manager Tom Killick fought hard to keep Marvin at the Black Gold and there was great disappointment felt by supporters at the move to Salisbury.

Chris Reeves said “Absolutely thrilled to get Marvin back. This will be a real boost for the whole Club and will I am sure be a major factor in assisting the team to get back to the consistency of good results that we have become so used to over the last few years”

Tom Killick added Marvin is just what we need at the moment. He has pace and power and a real physical presence. We understand each other and I am delighted to have him back.”
