Ladies First – Poole Town Ladies Promoted to FA Womens Premier League

For the second season running, Poole Town Ladies have been promoted. After a successful 2016/2017 in the South West Women’s Premier League, the Dolphins will play at Step 2 (W2) of Womens Football, the FA Womens Premier League – South West Division One.

Poole Town Ladies rise up the Womens Pyramid has been meteoric and they are now the top women’s team in the area. Apart from Poole Town, the league comprises of

  • Southampton Saints Girls & Ladies
  • Southampton Women
  • Larkhall Athletic
  • St Nicholas
  • Keynsham Town
  • Maidenhead Utd
  • Basingstoke
  • Cheltenham Town
  • Plymouth Argyle
  • Brislington,

Home games will be played mainly at Milborne St Andrew. Poole Town Chairman Chris Reeves said

The team are coached jointly by Alvin Gunpath and Josh Jones-Keen and Alvin reacted
